rondb Posted August 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2010 I heard there are extra charges when you want to participate in some activities on board. Apart from the usual cover charges for specialty resturants(sp?), are there any other "cover charges/fee's" that i should be aware of when I travel in December? TIA. I don't recall a lot other than alcohol based items. Martini, Wine, and Whiskey tasting. Oh, you can bowl for $5 and it costs for video games. You can rock out and rent a Gibson Guitar for I believe $10 a day. Don't quote me on the amount, I overheard some guy ask. Extra for Massages and spa services and a few extra things in the gym for a specific class. Bingo is also chargeable
intrepid_guy Posted August 5, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2010 Generally speaking (and I have not been on EPIC yet, but 8 other NCL cruises) there will be fees listed in the Freestyle Daily, so you will know before you go. But as stated above, you do pay for "activities" in which you get or could get something back. Tasting Clinics Specific Gym Classes (pilates, yoga etc) Spa Services Bingo Pub Crawls (incl drinks) Certain types of lessons Internet usage Bowling Art Auctions Ultimately, you have control over what you spend ~Intrepid <-- Point me to the Martini Clinic!!!
