Panama Canal Cruise--Not Quite Over

We did the P/C cruise last fall on Infinity. Fantastic cruise. One I'd wanted to do for many yrs, and it definitely lived up to my expectations.

We returned to the US on 11/8. Hey! It's 8 mos later. It's over and done, right? What's left except the photos?

Our blood bank annual contribution is due this mo. I said, "Sure. No problem." Except I was told I'm not eligible to donate for a full yr after traveling in the countries that are part of the P/C cruise.

So we pay the $30, but it still came as something of a surprise that 2 wks on a cruise, another 50 wks before it's completely over.

My DH donates every three months, except for the year he is made to wait after being away.

Mexico, Panama, Columbia and other countries are all included in this. last November we did a "Caribbean" cruise to Columbia, Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico. Now he has to wait until the next collection after this coming November.
