Mediterranean in December

I am considering the 21 day cruise in the Med. departing from Barcelona on Dec. 24. Do any of you have info as to what to expect concerning weather and how rough the water will be. Anyone else going on this cruise?

I went on a cruise in October to the Mediterrean. Barcelona was hot and beautiful. All the other ports (Malta, Naples, Rome, Florence, Cannes) were quite chilly in mid October already.
