Are there any hotels that offer a day rate in Ft Lauderdale....Oasis kicks you off early and our plane does not leave until 4:30. There are 10 of us with 4 kids 1 1/2 to 5 years old. Dont want to hang out in the fll airport till late. done that and it was delayed due to rain in Atlanta, then cancelled...spent the night in a flee bag Comfort Inn and had early flight next day....Voucher hotels are the worst and no breakfast. Any other suggestions? thanks

If you do a search you will find some information. This topic was discussed a lot last week.

We're a party of 11 and were able to reserve a "day rate" room at the Hilton Beach Resort. We wanted to be near the beach, but then have a room so that we could shower and change before catching our 6:40pm flight. The rate is $95 for the day (date - 8/22)

I should mention that I only reserved 1 room and said it was for a party of 5. We're not planning on staying in the room so I really didn't think it was worthwhile to rent 2 rooms.

In addition, there was a posting in this "Florida Departures" sight that provided a link to hotels in the area and indicated whether or not they offered day rooms.
