Project_gal Posted August 6, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2010 Have not been on s-Class ships but most of the ships we have been on have had both US and European sockets. One ship, and I cannot remember which, had US and UK type sockets. I make sure we travel with a couple of US and a couple or European adaptors. Tesco and Boots both now sell twin packs with one of each in. [Tesco is the cheaper.] Sue
CruisinManiac Posted August 6, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2010 Every ship/line that I have been on, has had both types. It's the hotels that you have to worry about. I blew up a white noise machine in Rome, when I thought the outlet was going to work fine. Hey, my plug fit! :(
sailoruk Posted August 6, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted August 6, 2010 Thanks for replies. As we are leaving from Southampton and don't have to worry about weight, we can take two or more travel plugs :p

Lsimon Posted August 6, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 6, 2010 Don't know about the Eclipse since it is UK based for a while, but all other X ships' I've been on have had both North American 110V and European 220V outlets. None have had the UK style outlets. We use plug converters to plug our 220V compatible chargers and cords into the Euro style (round posts) outlet.
