Hooves LTD in Ocho Rios

Hi,

We're booking the beach ride with Hooves while in Ocho Rios on the Freedom in October.

 

I've sent in the web reservation form and gotten back an email requesting credit card information. Two questions on this - does anyone know if are they charging me now for the ride (the website says you can pay when you get there) and has anyone had a problem giving them credit card info? I've replied to the email and asked if they were charging now - and was told it was to 'hold my reservation' which still isn't clear about what, if anything, they are charging now.

We rode with Hooves last month. The credit card held our spot and we paid cash at the completion of the ride. Awesome ride. We booked a private ride for a price that you would pay for a big group ride through the ship. There were two guides and one took care of the inexperienced rider and the other guide took the other riders at a faster pace. The horses are well cared for and know their job. The "swimming" was incredible.
