Has anyone gone on Costa Maya Beach Horseback Ride - CM83?

:confused: I'm looking for feedback on RCI's Beach Horseback Ride - CM83 in Costa Maya... Going on a cruise in October and can't seem to find any recent information. Do you actually ride on the beach or is it just Mexican "jungle trails"? Thanks!!!:D

We didn't do a horseback ride thru RCI - but booked one at the cruise terminal area (back in 2007). The place was a little rickity shack with the poor horses that were so thin. We took them alongside the road to a beach (close to Mahajual) and then back again.

 

While it was nice riding on the beach, wouldn't do it again because we felt so bad for the horses.

Thanks for the info Debbie! I still can't find any reviews anywhere online. Being a former horse owner, I don't think I could stand to see and ride underweight horses that are not properly cared for.
