Eeyoregon Posted August 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2010 Has anyone booked the Goff's Caye Snorkeling Tour thru cave-tubing dot com? And is it $45 well spent? I would love any information, reviews or comments regarding this tour. Thanks! Gina
AlanAllyn Posted August 8, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2010 No, but I have gone with coralbreezetours and it was well worth it.
Beverley792 Posted August 9, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 9, 2010 I just saw one from Island Marketing as we are thinking the same tour. They are $40 adult and $30 child under 10. They also seem to have good feedback. Beverley
N GA Posted August 10, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2010 We went through CavetubingRUS. I'm not sure about the price just to snorkel because we did a group rate for a snorkel/fish/lunch package. It was absolutely perfect. You can walk right off the island and snorkel on the reef. We had a manatee swim in and out around us, some even got to 'pet' it. Tons of different colorful fish. We had some dolphins come up on the boat ride and play alongside the boat.
Pattyjo9951 Posted August 13, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 13, 2010 I can not find one with coralbreezes or islandmarketing!
Eeyoregon Posted August 14, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted August 14, 2010 I can not find one with coralbreezes or islandmarketing! They are not currently offering Goff's Caye...all of the links/sites that I go to are no longer valid. Cave-tubing dot com is the only place that I have found. They were very fast to reply to my reservation request. You don't pay anything until you are at the excursion. gina
spaceflower77 Posted August 23, 2010 #7 Share Posted August 23, 2010 After snorkeling do you get to hang out on the beach or do you have to go back to the ship???
cruisingforsix Posted August 24, 2010 #8 Share Posted August 24, 2010 Hi we are trying to find a tour to Goffs Caye as well. we did find Carnival tours Belize, not carnival cruise lines .they have a three hour tour and you take the reef rocket to get there in about 25 min. although that doesn't look any faster than the one the ship offers and they don't mention a fast boat. sounds like you have about 2 hours in the water and an hour travel time. russianmom Posted October 26, 2010 #9 Share Posted October 26, 2010 Did any of you end up doing this? I am looking at tentatively booking it thru Island Marketing (they just re-opened this excuruinon this week) for February. Any feedback would be appreciated Thanks
navybaby1113 Posted October 27, 2010 #10 Share Posted October 27, 2010 I did Goff's Cay snorkeling through Carnival and it was nice, but I wouldn't do it again. You can snorkel right off the beach which was nice. The beach area wasn't well kept up though and there were a lot of bottle caps and other debris that I was scared to step on. If you spend your entire time in the water though, you'll have a good time. If you click on my Dream review in my signature, you can see some pictures I took of the excursion.
