Where Will Mariner Go?

I read an article on CC about California not being able to keep cruises, with a note that Mariner would be leaving California in January of next year. Since it was a CC article that mentioned the departure, I don't feel so bad about asking this question.

 

Is there any official word on where Mariner will now homeport? I wish she would come back to Port Canaveral. I was heartbroken when Mariner left Port Canaveral, as she was our favorite family vacation ship. I love Mariner.

Agreed, my wife and I LOVE the Mariner. She is going to be spending some time in Texas, so we are certainly planning on taking a cruise from there next year.
