LaQuinta Orlando Airport West

Just got this hotel via priceline. Wondering if anyone has stayed there. Reviews on tripadvisor.com with one exception are good. Looking for feedback on cleanliness, breakfast, facility, airport shuttle and area restaurants within walking distance. Also, not sure if they shuttle you to area restaurants??

Thanks!

I posted a review on tripadvisor.com - it's a clean and comfortable hotel. We truly enjoyed it. We did have two double beds but it wasn't a big deal. Bathroom was good sized and the room very clean. There is a restaurant right in the parking lot called Fish on Fire. Don't let the building deceive you...it's wonderful and we ate there twice. They even had some steeldrum music on Friday night. Really put us in the cruising mood! The continental breakfast at the hotel is good and had lots of fresh fruit (apples, bananas, etc.), yogurt, bagels, muffins, cereal, toast, milk, juice, and coffee. Pretty low key in terms of people staying...nice and quiet around the pool which was nice. The only issue is that it's not the best location. Not much around. There is a McDonald's almost next door and a 7-11. They offer a shuttle from the airport/hotel. They don't shuttle people anymore to restaurants. We rented a car through Budget right at the airport and getting to the LaQuinta was very easy. Easy drive to Port Canaveral the next morning. Got this room for $40 a night so we didn't know what to expect and were very, very pleased. Would recommend for a one-night stay.

Thank you for the information MNSAWYER (hope thats spelt right). You have really helped us out coming from England we just didn't know where to stay, we do have a car to pick up at the air port so travelling around won't be a problem.

Cheers Lin

We got the room through Priceline. Look under biddingfortravel.com - all kinds of information. It's a 2-star Orlando airport hotel. Would recommend to anyone who just needs a one night stay. We did it pre-cruise but if we cruise out of PC again, will be staying in the Cocoa Beach area but not because of the hotel just because we liked the CB area. The hotel is fine and our stay was excellent.
