Transportation from Oltenita Harbor to Bucharest

We will be spending a couple of days in Bucharest at the end of our Viking River cruise. We are trying to figure out transportation from the harbor to the city center. Has anyone gotten their own transportation from Oltenita to Bucharest? Can anyone make any recommendations?

The "Viking folks" are very knowledgeable and accomodating. I'd give thier "800" customer service # a call and I bet they can arrange a transfer. If there are several other passengers doing the same thing, perhaps they can arrange for a van for everyone which will certainly be less $$$ pp then you hiring a cab. If that doesn't work out, talk to your cruise director on the boat. (s)he will probably be able to offer options for the transfer as well.
