Any official word if the cruise dock in Galveston is being deepened? Apparently, that's why they can only get the Vision ships in there. It is not deep enough to hold the bigger ships. I've heard some rumors of draining the channel and making it deeper, any official word?

I have heard nothing locally about dredging the channel. Progress on the new terminal building iseems very slow also.
