stoneharborlady Posted August 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2010 We are considering a post cruise stay in Ft. Lauderdale, as it seems there are NO ships leaving the day after we come in. Hopefully the airport would be less congested, and less of a nightmare if we fly home on Sunday instead of Saturday. I know we have to be out of our stateroom by 8:00 AM. When do we have to be off the ship? Dont want to rush off as the hotel probably has an afternoon check in, and probably wont be ready for us at 10:00 AM. Thank you. ggprincess2004 Posted August 14, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Most likely, if all goes smoothly that morning, you will disembark before 9:45 or 10 am. If you let the hotel know that you will be arriving by about 10 am or shortly thereafter they might have a room ready for you.

You could still go to the hotel and leave your luggage with the concierge, then enjoy the day along the Riverwalk or beachfront, returning to checkin. later in the afternoon. Ciao for now!!! paul929207 Posted August 14, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 14, 2010 They will want you off the ship 9:30 or 10am. If you hotel room isn't ready, you can probably check your bags there and go off.
