Renting Car for beach time

We have decided to rent a car on St Kitts and see if we can find a nice quiet beach to spend the day at. We have looked at most of our options and think Dieppe Bay Beach sounds like a good place to be. Does anyone have any experience with this beach and maybe can tell us if it is worth the drive? If so, how long did it take you to get here? We have been in St. Kitts once before and rented a car to go to Cockleshell. We were dissappointed with this beach. The beach was full of seaweed and debris and just was not what we were expecting. Thought we would do the other end of the island this time but don't want to spend the majority of our day driving. Please, a bit of insight would be helpful. Thank you.
