blondeonboard Posted August 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2010 Does anyone know how many pillows are in a room. My boyfriend uses 3 and I use 2 myself. Trying to figure out if I need to bring some of my own.
ehfl Posted August 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2010 Just ask your attendant for more....he/she will be happy to bring you as many as you want.
cruzngma Posted August 16, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2010 No need to bring any, they have wonderful pillows and your room steward can get you more. You may even find that you don't need as many as you thought you would!

If you don't have enough pillows, just leave your steward a note (and tip for the trouble) and he/she will find more for you.

We were on the Valor last November and had the beds together as a king also. We had six pillows.
AZ Karaoke Girl Posted August 16, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 16, 2010 My first cruise I actually took my pillows and put them in one of those vacuum bags to shrink them down and packed them in my suitcases cuz I wanted my own pillows for a week long vacation. Didn't need them at all. Never did it again.
md10074 Posted August 16, 2010 #7 Share Posted August 16, 2010 Everyone in my cabin had 2 pillows each and it was plenty. Compared to what I have at home, they were very fluffy. I even heard someone in the hallway ask for thinner pillows.
terigo Posted August 16, 2010 #8 Share Posted August 16, 2010 There are already 2 pillows each, and there are more in the cabin already, for the extra sofa bed. If that isn't enough, your steward will bring you as many as you like. Carnival has some of the most comfy bedding at sea... including their fluffy pillows..... to quote my daughter (she and her husband were in the adjacent cabin) "ya think there is a way to bring the beds home? I never slept so comfortably in my life!"....
lee0070 Posted August 17, 2010 #9 Share Posted August 17, 2010 I may be wrong but I think you can actually buy the mattresses and pillows they use on board off Carnivals website. They are not cheap.

AZ Karaoke Girl Posted August 17, 2010 #11 Share Posted August 17, 2010 I agree about the comfort of their beds. Even when I could see a dip in the center of the mattress, it was very comfy. Carnival has the best beds even when they are worn out.:D

I found this picture of the messy bed (it was first thing in the morning and the steward hadn't made it yet)
bigredaggiesmom Posted August 17, 2010 #13 Share Posted August 17, 2010 We had 4 last time we sailed. Loved the pillows so much that I came home and ordered some right away. To me they are worth every penny I paid for them.
gargoyle999 Posted August 17, 2010 #14 Share Posted August 17, 2010 Are all ships supposed to have the magical Carnival beds? The beds on the Spirit seemed to be a lot more uncomfortable then the beds on the Miracle.
