Another EPIC Vacation

Recommended Posts

Hi!

you mention going to the Atrium Bar to purchase your beverage packages on the first day.

Did you get the Teen Smoothie Passport by any chance? Is that also where we should get soda packages for our younger kids?

Dis-Embarkation Day – Saturday, August 14, 2010

We put in a 6:30 wakeup call, which came on time. We got ready and packed our carry-on bags. They sent the all clear to leave the ship at 7:35. We were off the ship at 7:45, with absolutely no wait to get off. We found the baggage claim area, but couldn't find our bag color. I asked an attendant, and we had gotten off on the wrong gangplank. We were escorted to the correct holding area, found our bags, and were out in about 5 minutes. Customs was a breeze, and we were in a cab by 8:00. Unbelievable.

We thought the airport was going to be tight, as our flight was scheduled for 10:20. Since we were off the ship so early and easy, our flight time was no problem at all. We were checked in and cleared security in about 45 minutes. We grab some brunch and go to the terminal to await our flight home.

All in all, this was probably my favorite vacation of all time.

Thanks for an outstanding review!

You get all the soda packages here. I don't recall seeing a Smoothie Passport. My kids are into milkshakes, so the smoothies wouldn't have been something I would have looked into anyways.

Have fun.

We went on the first day. They had several models to choose from, probably 5. My son chose the Les Paul, and another boy (11 years old - he actually got to play along one night - he was very talented) took a different model. I remember there was also a Flying V that my son contemplated. There was also a Bass available. They give you the guitar in a hard case, a Line 6 pod that you plug your headphones into, and the cable. Also gave us extra AAA batteries in case you need them. They have you sign an agreement that you will return it in the same condition as checked out in. It is $10 per day, and you simply keep it as long as you want. We kept ours the whole week. It was the number one thing that my son looked forward to. In fact, we literally just got back from the music store where he purchased a similar headphone amp to the Line 6.
