Will they stow luggage for a 14 day cruise?

Recommended Posts

We will be on our first 2 week cruise in Oct.
After we unpack I would love the extra room we could gain from getting rid of the 4 suitcases we will bring. Is there a place our cabin steward could put them? I would also ask for the fridge to be emptied. Do the stewards seem a bit less busy on a longer cruise? I hate to seem like I am requesting things above and beyond. Thanks for your imput!

Hi,
Your empty luggage should fit under the beds. We have stored ours there on our last four cruises.
Years ago the cabin attendants would store it for you if you tipped them good. When it came time to get mine back, she kept forgetting and I did not get it until late the afternoon before we got off the ship.
After that I even kept it on the couch rather than let them have it.

Two of our deepest suitcases don't fit under the beds. I guess you could ask if they could store them somewhere. I'm constantly putting stuff in mine as the cruise progresses (souveniers, things I won't wear any more,...)

wow- if it wont fit under the bed can you bring it on a plane? Airports are really picky with luggage lately.

We stow our deep {Samsonite) suitcases open. They fit easily under the bed. If your other 2 suitcases are small, you can place them in the deeper end of your open suitcase and all should be well.

Your cabin steward will empty your refrigerator.

Try lifting the bed up, the suitcases might fit. It not, the room stewart will store them for you and bring them back when you like, no tip expected.
