Car hire ? help needed

Hi folks...We are flying into Miami the day before our cruise and driving up to FLL...Booked into the hilton...

 

I know theres quite a few car companies to choose from and all resonable prices but as Ive been reading these boards iIve learnt that budget has an office at the port...

 

Does anyone know if this is correct ? Our cruise is on the atlantica, November 7 and leaves from pier 19...

 

Is there quite a distance between said pier and the budget drop off point ?

 

If this is in fact correct we would book again after our 2 week cruise to take us back to miami aiport...

 

Any help would be very much appreciated...
