justtrustmedude Posted August 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2010 We've been on 9 cruises before. Princess, NCL and Royal Caribbean. We've booked our next cruise on Celebrity Infinity Panama Canal (Nov. 7) I've just learned that we are allowed to bring 2 bottles of wine onboard. I'm pleasantly happy about that tidbit of info and wonder if there is anything else we should know about Celebrity. Specifically, are there any other policies that are different from the cruise ships we've already been on. Also, does anyone know if it's two per cabin or two per person? Phyrman Posted August 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2010 Hey Justtrustmedude, we will be with you on the Panama cruise. To answer your question its one 750ml bottle per person in your carry-on to enjoy in your cabin or a $25 corkage fee if you take it to dinner. Now that we have the offical rules out of the way my wife will usualy carry 2 bottles in her carry on and I carry 2 more in my carry on, one being 1.75 L magnum of Champagne we have never been questioned or stopped. I'm told if they stop us they will hold the 2 confiscated bottles and return them at the end of the cruise. Carnival Cruise Lines also has the same rules but only charge $10 corkage fee. Princess, same rules plus $15 corkage. Royal Caribbean does not allow you to bring any aboard. Anyway were getting closer to cruise time, see you aboard. Cheers, Phyrman out
