Cayman Island Museum

Is the Cayman Islands National Museum walking distance from where Carnival cruise ship tenders drop you off? Has anyone been there recently, I saw that it changes exhibits frequently. Can you see it all and still hit the beaches for some snorkeling?:D

The museum is right along the waterfront at 3 South Church Street, right across the road from the South terminal and a short walk from the North terminal or the newer Royal Watler Terminal.

Thanks so much!

My wife and I enjoyed the museum last year on our last cruise. Seems you'll spend about an hour there at most. Very enjoyable and well worth the visit as it gives a very nice history of the island. I believe it costs a few dollars admission. So no worries about not having time to take a long excursion in addition to the museum.

I don't think you could spend all day at the museum, it's not that big. A lot of history about ship wrecks and storms, and a wonderful film about the island. Very few pieces of art, but very educational. We stopped there on our walk back from the submarine excursion.(which was fantastic). So if you are going to snorkel at Eden Rock, which is just a block past the submarine loading area, you should have no problem. Enjoy!:)
