brego Posted February 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2005 Our ship (Zaandam) is scheduled to arrive in Georgetown at 8:00. I am booked on Soto't Stingray City tour with a pick up time of 9:00? Am I going to be able to make this time? I have heard that people booked on HALs shore excursions get priority with tender times although ship services said I can be on one of the first tenders. However, I have received misinformation from ship services before.

I have heard that people booked on HALs shore excursions get priority with tender times although ship services said I can be on one of the first tenders. The actual tendering doesn't take long - just depends on how many people are in line ahead of you. I would make sure Soto's knows which ship you are on. The tour itself doesn't leave until 9:30. Depending on how many people are on the tour, they may well have to run more than one shuttle. But I would let Soto's know and see what they say. How many in your party? brego Posted February 13, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted February 13, 2005 Thanks you for the reply. There are 5 in our party. Soto' thought we would be cutting it close but said we could go ahead and book it. I just don't want to be nervous about it. I am wondering if there are any techniques to getting on one of the first tenders with HAL? I can't remember is HAL requires tender tickets and if priority is given to those going on HAL shore excursions?
zydecocruiser Posted February 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2005 It's been years since I've been on a HAL cruise - don't remember either. I would suggest asking in the HAL forum, but it appears you already did. Can the person in the wheelchair walk at all?
