premierhhcare Posted October 2, 2010 #5 Share Posted October 2, 2010 We were there in Jan. 2010 and the water was bath warm. We snorkeled and swam and never felt even slightly cold. When we were in Hawaii the previous year, we froze our butts off in the pacific!!!
islandhop2009 Posted October 3, 2010 #6 Share Posted October 3, 2010 Are the water temps warm enough to swim in late January? The water on Grand Turk is about 75-78 degrees Fahrenheit / 24-26 degrees Celsius during the winter months. Water temps of course are warmer in the summertime, but it is nice year-round, especially with an average of 350 days of sunshine per year.
