9/21/10 Canada/New England-dropping Corner Brook

I was just checking on my excursions for this cruise and got an error message on my Corner Brook excursion. I called the excursion desk and was told that the Jewel would not be stopping at Corner Brook and would instead have another sea day. Supposedly they are sending e-mails tonight. Thought others might like to know.

Did they say it was for the 9/21 sailing only? We are on the 9/11 sailing and this is the first I've seen this.

haven't heard anything and I am on that cruise. Heading over to NCL site now.

OK- I called - spoke to 2 different departments & checked the NCL site.

I was assured that CB is still on. Supposedly there have been no changes at all

If you are all on the 9/21/10 sailing, have you considered joing the CC Roll Call for that cruise? We will be having a Meet & Greet, a cabin crawl, a slot pull, etc. Come on over to the Roll Call boards and check us out!

If you will be joining us, please just post it there. I need to send NCL my final number for the group in the next couple of weeks!

Corner Brook has been dropped for this cruise and apparently also for the 9/11 cruise.

We also received our notification today (through our travel agent) that Corner Brook has been dropped from the 9/11 cruise. $100 OBC will be given as refund for taxes, etc. according to the letter.

Was dropped from the 9/11 cruise because it has an azipod propulsion system problem and must go slower. They also gave less time in Sydney 8-1 p.m. and changed Quebec which was 10-10 to 7a.m-7p.m. Turns out to be 5 full sea days -- very disappointing. Vicki:)
