Halifax Hop on/Hop Off Bus

Thoughts, seems a bit pricey from rcl. anyone way to book it cheaper and is it worth it?

Halifax has a free bus called "FRED" (Free Rides Everywhere Downtown).

Probably doesn't go to all of the tourist places but good to get you to the Citadel from the pier.

We just got back and did the hop on hop off in Halifax. Didn't think it was worth it. We spent most of our time at the Citadel, Maritime Museum and walking on the boardwalk/shopping. The Citadel is up-hill but it's really not far. The Museum and shopping are only a few blocks from the pier. We rode on 2 of the hop on/off tours and they were pretty boring.
