Day Pass - Sandals- Is it worth it?

I know that are a lot of threads about the day passes and I have read so many I think they are all running together.

We will be two senior adults, we will be in Nassua from 7am until midnight. If we get a daypass does it also include food and drink for the entire day? Evening? Are you allowed to visit any of the food establishments? Can't decide between Sheraton,Breezes, or Sandals. Suggestions??

I was thinking about sandals, the hubby wants to do breezes, both are AI,breezes is from 10am to 6pm and the cost is $60 ,sandals is a little more i think about $110 not sure,i think the hours are the same but i hear sandals is nicer, so we're gonna toss a coin when we get to the bahamas to see which one we're going to, wish me luck! either way we will have fun. the sheraton is $25 but no food or drinks are included so i guess it depends on what you are looking for.:)

I am kind of at the same point! i feel it like a coin toss....Want to do a Beach, been to Straw Market; don't care to do again; like the Casino idea but is it closed as the Wyndom due to contruction? Casino is the only reason I would go to Atlantis, been there and walked the whole place it was too cold to get in the water; so we just kept walking - no one stopped us.

Like the Beach idea better than pool so back and forth is Sandles worth the double price of Breezes? We are there from 7:00am to 11pm but if we stay after the 6:00 time will be hard tme getting back to the ship? Or do they make you leave at a certain time with the day pass?

Day Pass holders are asked to leave. I believe it's 5 or 6pm for either properties.

Don't forget, in the winter months, it will be dark by 5:30pm.. and everything will be closed up.

Thanks Scubagirl. I am actually going twice once in two weeks that is when we are there until midnight and then in November - Thanksgiving weekend. Is the casino that is between the Wyndom and Sherdian still open?

The casino will reopen when the wyndham reopens Oct 6th.

Just wanted to let you know that although I have not been to Sandals, my husband and I have stayed at Breezes. Just so you know, it was fun but a little on the "young" side. Lots of wild young singles/couples. There is only one buffet style place to eat and then a reservation only type of Italian restaurant if I recall. There is a trapeeze and they play volleyball in the pool most of the day. The beach was clear to a point then had a lot of seaweed. Sandals had a separate island where they took you to swim-that's my limited knowledge. Also, it's a bit of a drive down to Breezes. I think I might stick to the Sheraton as it is on the nice stretch of beach on Paradise Island. Good luck and have fun. We'll be going in November-can't wait as Nassau is by far one of my favorite ports!

So that should put your timing just back from your cruise!!!

Where can I find your review and photos from your trip in the bahamas, Annette?

Funny we were in Alaska together, and just missing each other on the other side of the world :)
