Taxi rates

I know the rates are pre-set and include a $1.00 extra per suitcase. Does that include the carryon? I want to make sure I have the right change for most of our 'cash' outlays.

It should only include luggage (large bags for the trunk) etc. Carry-ons that you keep with you should be charged.

Should be $19 from airport to Caribe Hilton Plus Luggage.

From Caribe Hilton to Pan Am Dock I would think not more

than $15.

Would taxi to the Conrad near Old San Juan (from airport) still be about 20.00? That's not per person is it? Would that be for 2 people? Also, I assume they speak English.. first time there.. hope this doesn't sound stupid!

The rate should be $15 to the Conrad plus luggage. It's per ride not

per person. They start charging $2 per person for the 6th & 7th.

Yes, everyone speaks English. Their English is better than my Spanish. Dont worry.

The Conrad is at the end of Ashford Ave just before the

bridge. I assume this is the hotel you mean and not the Caribe Hilton.

 

Stop at the Taxi Dispatch stand at the airport. They will tell you how much

the ride should be to your destination and give you a little rate brochure

as I attached.
