Carnival Spirit from Ensanada to Hawaii

Hubby wants to do the 4/17/05 sailing of this ship, but I'm a bit leary of a 2 week cruise. Just wondering if anyone has done this cruise, and what your thoughts were on it. Such as - 5 days at sea (seems so long), rough or calm seas, embarkation/debarkation, excursions, etc. Thanks!

My wife and I did a similar cruise on another cruise line last year and loved it. Those days at sea are so relaxing and it was wonderful to spend quality time with the Mrs. :)

We did it on a sister Carnival ship in 98. It was the cruise of a lifetime. Would love to do it again.

 

The 5 days at sea were marvelous. We wished there were another 5 after the tour of the Islands.

We did this trip with Celebrity(I know wrong message board) but we appreciated the days at sea. We were flying from the east and after the bus ride to Esenada and all our travelling, it was a great way to relax and feel up to travelling around in Hawaii. We had a chance to get rid of our jet lag and have a few days to sleep in and get use to the time change.

I didn't think I could take so amny sea days in a row until last Spirit 8 day cruise. It took nearly 3 days to get to first stop. It was so wonderful and relaxing. I know nowa Hawaii cruise would be wonderful!
