Does NCL read these posts at all?

WOW...that answered by question!

I am glad Mr. Sheehan is reading these posts because this is his cruise-line after all we are talking about! Ok Mr. Sheehan, here is an idea for you ( I couldn't keep quiet!) - why don't you use "secret passengers" similar to "secret shoppers" on the EPIC to assess what exactly is going on ranging from "secret families" to "secret solo" travelers - this would give you tremendous insight of the ship current processes, faults, positives and what other passengers are saying. Thank you for listening!

Can I volunteer for that job:D

Good to see NCL monitoring the boards!

One more vote for switching the smoking / non-smoking sections in casino on EPIC.

If you just reverse them, you'll fix many if not most of the smoking complaints.

P.S. Feel free to enlist me as a secret-cruiser too! :)

Although there appear to be some issues with this new innovative ship, as would be expected with something new, I'm not at all sure that early negative reviews are indicative of how this ship will be received in the long run. This ship is not likely to be the cruise ship of choice for a lot of seasoned cruisers. It really looks like it's trying to appeal to a new segment of people. If you want the more traditional laid back cruise with set times for dining and entertainment that's fine, but this ship will probably not be the best fit. If you want a Las Vegas type atmosphere with lot's of options for non-stop entertainment and dining, then the Epic looks like a great choice. This may be unsettling for cruisers who love the old traditional style, but it sure looks to me like NCL is opening up an attraction for a new segment of the population who might not have been as likely to cruise before Epic hit the water. I expect Epic to be very popular considering the popularity of places like Las Vegas and Orlando.
