zugzug15 Posted August 31, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2010 I see that the Carnival spirit does 5 day cruises to cabo with 2 days in the port. Does anyone know if you are required to get back onboard each night or if you can stay in cabo and experience the nightlife?
cruisinthemed Posted August 31, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2010 I see that the Carnival spirit does 5 day cruises to cabo with 2 days in the port. Does anyone know if you are required to get back onboard each night or if you can stay in cabo and experience the nightlife? I have heard you have to get back on the ship. It is a tendered stop and in the event of bad weather, it may not come back to Cabo. I am not sure what time curfew is???
bills blasters Posted August 31, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2010 My pvp told me that the tenders do not run after dark. So, they will have the last tender scheduled before it gets dark. So it would depend on what time of year it is.
lovevacadays Posted September 14, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2010 You have to get back on the ship in the evening.
welldone60 Posted September 14, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 14, 2010 The ship does not stay in Cabo overnight. It will sail out and cruise the open sea and then return the next mourning. If you decide to chance it and stay off the ship overnight, make sure you take your passports with you. There have been times when ships could not tender due to swells. The Splendor missed Cabo a couple of weeks ago due to swells.
zugzug15 Posted September 24, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted September 24, 2010 Thanks for the responses everyone. I have heard great things about cabo's nightlife and the ability to experience it would influence my booking this cruise immensely.
sassyredhat Posted September 24, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 24, 2010 The ship has to go out so they can open the casino. It was sailing about 2 knots and we couldn't even feel any movement. I actually missed having a rocking ship. :D Pat
