How do I know what class of ship?

I was reading that there is the fantasy class ship and several others. We are thinking of the Liberty, is that a fantasy class? Are they larger?

Thanks for the added info. I had sailed the larger ships on RCCL, Princess and when I tried Carnival at the time, I chose the Miracle, great trip and ship and am looking now at the Legend or Glory or Freedom. Are the larger ships worth looking at? Thanks!

I have been on the Conquest, and on the Ecstasy (Fantasy class), and can tell you based on feel that the Conquest feels much more than 1/2 larger.

Yes the larger ones are. My favorite still is the Fantasy Class (which I will be on in 17 days) but my 2nd favorite class of Carnival is the Conquest Class. Although larger I like some of the features offered.

Most will get grumpy about this but my least favorite ship with Carnival is the Dream....Did not like many things on it....

Since you liked the Miracle you might want to do the Legend but, I would try the Glory or Freedom. Really liked the Glory....Also probably going to do the sister ship Liberty again next fall...;)

The Dream class includes the Carnival Dream and the Carnival Magic. I am not sure what class the Carnival Breeze will be. I would guess it will be a dream class also.
