has anyone done the everglades tour and then back to FLL?

We have a 7pm flight out of FLL. Has anyone done the everglades shore excursion. I was wondering what time you have to be ready to go the morning you disembark? My experiences on voyager class ships before is that the morning of disembarkment can be pretty bad. Very crowded and unorganized (although the rest of the cruise is great!) Was hoping to be one of the last ones off of the ship as to avoid the rush. So I was wondering what time these excursions would leave. Also, does anyone have any other thoughts on how to spend the day?

My experience has been that the ones going on those excursions are among the first off the ship (just after the very early flight people), and they would still get you to the airport so early that you would have a rather long wait. If I were you I would rent a car and spend the day in the city unless you really WANT to take that Everglades excursion.

When you book your excursion, you will get orange tags. meet in the

Aurora theater by 7:15 to get your sticker with FFL on it. You clear

customs, take your baggage to the waiting FFL bus and by 8:30 at the latest

you are on your way. They give you a quick tour of south Miami, and

you will arrive at Everglades between 9 and 9:30. Be sure to get a photo

with "Larry". The bus will take you back to FFL around 12:30 or 1.

We just did it... was worth it because it killed time, hauled our luggage,

and dropped us off at our terminal.
