First, Belize City is on the mainland. It's not on an island.

 

Second, most shopping related to tourists is right at the Tourism Vilage where the tenders from your ship dock. There is a small flea market a couple of blocks outside of the TV area and there are local shops across the swing bridge and down Regents Street, but not a lot of items that tourists are attracted to.

 

So you may want to find a tour of the city and they may pass some other areas where there is shopping. But not like what you'll find in other ports.
