Which port is better for diving?

define "better"

 

on any given day one might be FANTASTIC or fair

 

if the last time he's "gotten wet" was a few years ago . . . it won't matter. Dove 'em both many times. Sometimes very very good - sometimes very average. Always better than a lake in Wisconson . . .

 

St Martin SOUNDS more exotic doesn't it?

 

St Thomas gets more divers . . .

St Thomas by far. I have been to both several times and the visibility in St Thomas has been consistantly better than St Maarten. There are good dive sites at both, but if you can only dive one I would definitely plan to dive St Thomas. What is your experience level as a diver? I might be able to recommend a dive site for you.
