of a restaurant that is located north of Bourban St and it's in a Pink House? I understand the food is suppose to be pretty darn good and I'd like to try it out when visiting NO in Jan. If someone can help I'd appreciate it.

You are probably thinking of Petunia's, on St. Louis just off Bourbon, but it closed a few weeks ago. Ir was pink with green shutters.

I highly recommend Stella's. It can be difficult to get into so reservations are necessay. We were there last March and loved it!

Thanks for the info - checked with my dd and it's definitely Petunia's - sorry to hear that it closed, was looking forward to eating there.

The Oceana Grill is supposed to be using Petunia's old menu and many people say it taste the same.

That's correct, and the breakfast menu includes the onelettes and crepes that Petunia's was famous for.

 

Oceana is at 739 Conti, just off Bourbon on the river side.

Another vote for Stella's. The service was amazing. Pricey, but it'll be one of the best meals/experiences you've ever had in your life.
