Swimming Pool In Spa on Dawn

We were on both Norwegian Star and Norwegian Dawn a few years ago and are going on Dawn again this december. One of things we liked on both ships was the lap pool in the SPA area. I recently read something on these boards that they were charging a fee to use the lap pool. Can anyone tell me if that's true or not??? ;)

Yes, it is true. The fee gives you access to the spa.

Too many passengers were treating the lap pool in the spa as an indoor party pool. It was never meant to be an indoor party pool. If one wanted to party or do cannonballs use the outdoor pools...

 

The lap pool is considered part of the spa... :D

I was on the Dawn in August and the pool you're referring to is part of the spa. Pretty sure you need spa access in order to use that pool.

 

I bought spa passes for my wife and me ($165 for the cruise). It was a great quiet retreat on busy days.
