Can Anyone Recommend a Private Tour/Driver for day in Belize City

Jan 27 2010: We want to spend the day with a private driver/guide to just tool around the Belize City area. Anyone have recommendations?

We used Nacho and Cynthia, http://www.ncqadventuretours.com/guides.html, a husband and wife team. If you email him, put a phone number because he likes to call you to discuss the plan over the phone.

We had 10 people. He took us cave tubing, to lunch afterward, then to the zoo. These are customs tours so you can plan your day around what you want to do.

I've looked at the website but don't see any private tours listed. Or is it that all of the tours listed are private? Also, do they offer the zip line or am I overlooking it? TY

I am not 100% sure but I do think it is because all of their tours are private. I used their website as a guideline (to see what Belize had to offer) but they were willing to work out any plan, as long as it was possible in the time frame you had. Once you email them, Nacho will usually call you the same or next day.

Does anyone know a private tour guide by the name of Albert? He's independent and works with several travel agencies? He was amazing on our recent trip, taking us all over the island, giving us history and science lessons and he was a real stand-up guy. We meant to grab a business card from him before we left and forgot.
