Yay! You're husband is right on the mark.

 

Perricone's is an Italian place right off of Brickell, in a garden setting. It's a short cab ride away, a bit over a mile.

 

Downtown is hard, because it's so dead after 5:00 and on weekends.

 

You might want to take a cab to Miami Beach and go to Lincoln Rd. Lots of cafes to choose from, fun shops to explore and great people watching.
