gogofrog Posted September 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2010 I booked a cruise a week ago for a Sept 18th sailing for the past guest rate. The past guest rate is now of course cheaper a week later... Does Carnival issue OBC if you book with past guest rate?

You can request a category upgrade if the higher category is now less than or equal to what you paid, but other than that all you can do is have a good time. (Someone is going to come in and talk about ES or Early Saver, but it does not apply to your situation because you booked so close to sailing. Those fares MUST be booked at least 5 months out for 7 day sailings and 90 days for shorter sailings.)
