Anyone know the3 answer to this? Will be there 26 Jan 2011.

Yes it is, Carnival now has a tour going there

The resort has a cruise package four of them in fact from the very min. to #4 which inc tran, food towels and other things but if you are on a Carnival ship they are no good unless you had order and paided for them before Carnival got it's claws into the resort then they will allow the resort to allow every thing but the trans which you have to supply your own. We made res. in May for this Dec. cruise

The carnival tour supplies trans but no meal while the resort supplies lunch but no trans and is overall still cheaper than the carnival tour even inc. the taxi cost.

We booked through Island Marketing for $38/person. We booked because we were looking for a resort where we could take out kayaks and this excursion fit the bill. We didn't know at the time that the resort was Fantasy Island.

I think you can book directly through the resort, including the transportation, for even less per person. Check out their website packages.

By "Fantasy Island," are you referring to the TV program many years ago with Mr. Roarke & Tattoo? This is interesting!

While on a tour with Victor Bodden tours we went past a resort named Fantasy Island. The guide explained that this is not the place that the show you are referring to was filmed. He said the resort only tried to capitalize on it.

Read the reviews on tripadvisor- not very good. Of course most of those were talking about the accommodations which are less relevant for day use, but many also mention dirty beach, poor food etc. We were thinking of Fanmtasy Island but after reading reviews decided against it

Check thier website they are making changes to the day users. Been trying to contact them to see if any changes are made to our booking other than no more pickup from MB Now that they are in the Carnival tour progarm. They are making all kind of changes to make it harder to book on your own and not thru their tours
