Quebec train station to cruise terminal??

We are taking the train from Montreal to Quebec, prior to boarding our ship the Eurodam. Is it walkable from the train station to the cruise terminal or do we get a cab? We have rolling suitcases. Thanks for any info.

If you have rolling suitcases and it's a beautiful day, you can walk to the cruise terminal and enjoy the view of the Old Port and/or the old streets with antique shops and cafés along the way. It sould take you 15 minutes.

When you exit the train station, don't use the side doors where the taxis are waiting. Use the front door. Once outside there's a parc and a fountain just in front of you. The view is worth it. Then, walk to your left for the cruise terminal.

I researched this because we are disembarking in Montreal and staying at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, which is right above the rail station. The distance between the two locations is 1.8kms or 1.15miles. Taxi fare is estimated at $8 including tip.

They board the ship in Quebec City, not Montreal.
