Sea warm enough in October?

Has are the sea temperatures in the Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach areas in October, warm enough to swim comfortably?

 

I swim in the sea here in the UK in the summer, when the water temp is about 60-62 F, so I'm used to it quite cold!

Oops, too late to edit, but I probably should have used the word 'ocean' rather than sea for Florida ..sorry!

Thank you. I might go for one last dip in the sea this week, but it's getting freezing over here now!

The water temperature is very seldem lower than tepid. You should be careful of Jellyfish though.

 

We're having a VERY warm September and temps in October are also looking to be about 10 degrees higher than normal. (Here in GA, I'm assuming all over the South).

Thanks for the information, I would not have even thought have jellyfish. I will try and check up on that.
