What is the closest rental car company to the pier in Saint John? Any within walking distance?

What is the closest rental car company to the pier in Saint John? Any within walking distance?

 

If you are docking at the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal or Pugsley "C", AVIS is located across the street and down 2 blocks (2 minute walk). If you are docking at Long Wharf, Enterprise Car Rental and AVIS are of equal distance approx. 10 minute walk. Apparently Enterprise will take your car rental right to the dock for your convenience so no need to walk.

If you are staying in Saint John and not going to St. Martin's, I don't recommend renting a car - you can walk to the attractions or cab it cheaply.

Just be sure to reserve a car before you go - was there 2 wks ago and they (Avis) did not have any for those that walked in.
