Live BEFORE the Pearl...

Hi everyone. I've been reading your forum for weeks; learning so much about the Pearl and today we embark for the Pacific Coastal.

 

I'm a big fan of NCL. This cruise puts me at Platinum level. Without Cruise Critic and all of you posting, our cruise wouldn't be all it will be. Thank you! :)

You must get off the ship in Astoria it's and absolutly lovely little sleepy town with quite a few nice shops, there is a great old bakery thats got all the bake goods you could imagine.

There is also an old theater (located on a corner) be sure to go and and have a look at the chandelairs, they are made out of paper.

They also have a JC Penny's that I swear its got to be the companies first one it's so old.
