GinDon Posted September 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2010 In port 5 pm to midnight. Two ladies in my family group were expecting to do tons of heavy duty shopping on our port stop in San Juan. I just about broke their hearts when I reminded them we would be there at NIGHT. I know there will be some ship sponsored shops open.............guess they can go to the Port talk to learn about those. How about if they cab it over to the New San Juan area? I've never been there.........isn't it like a big city, maybe with Malls, or stores that stay open at night? Oh........and Starbucks. One of them is a Starbucks employee and is dying to visit Starbucks for some souvenirs. Any ideas for my shop-a-holics?
rainforestgirl Posted September 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2010 Their best bet will be to take a taxi to Plaza Las Americas Mall. It is about 15 mins away. They will find lots of nice stores, (big and little) and local crafts. It is open until 9pm. There is a Starbucks just about 2 blocks up from the cruise ship pier.
