Sad to read about Aitutake in the Cooks; a BEAUTIFUL island. Hope they will be able to rebuild and damage wasn't too severe.

Wow..very scary. I honeymooned in the Cooks back in 2000..we spent a weekend of our trip on Aitutaki staying at the Lagoon Resort..it was abosolutely the best 2 1/2 days out of the 10 of our honeymoon..I hope they can recover.

 

Wonder how the ship is doing right now..I think there is a sailing right now!
