Beaches near Breezes

We will be Curacao in December and are planning on going to Breezes on the AI day pass. However, on the off chance that they are not issuing day passes the day we are there, which beaches are adjacent to the Breezes area so we can form a back up plan? We would like somewhere that we would be able to walk (a very short distance) to from the Breezes resort so we won't have to take another taxi if there are no day passes available.

Breezes is on Mambo Beach...along with Lions Dive and Kontiki (or whatever their name is now. !) they have shops and bars and restaurants on Mambo and also the Dolphin Academy.

Just checking in to see if anyone has any new information on Breezes now that Carnival has returned to Curacao. Does anyone know if they still offer the daypass to cruisers??

It's been a few years since we went to Breezes in Curacao. I do remember the taxi ride was expensive. If you need to get to another beach, if Breezes isn't issuing day passes, as I understand it, the bus system is very good, and there's other beaches that are close enough to walk to.
