justinsmum Posted February 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2005 We are cruising for the first time with our three (almost four) year old son. We will be on the Diamond Princess starting February 26th, cruising from L.A. to Mexico. We've never taken a flight with our son nor arranged airport transfers. We are thinking about taking his carseat and arranging a limousine from LAX to the terminal (it seems to be the same price as the shuttle or a taxi). My dh and I plan to visit the ports (I've been there, he hasn't) and would like to take our son with us for all or part of the day. Are the cab driver's okay with my dh installing the car seat? Are we better using a shuttle in PV, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas? I want to ensure our son is safely buckled in. I've been to Mexico three times and I'm uneasy about vehicle travel with a pre-schooler. Also - is there room in our inside cabin to store his high-back booster seat? TIA for your help.
