Anyone Ever Taken Trans-Bridge Bus Lines To Brooklyn Cruise Terminal?

Hey Folks:

My wife and I are headed out of the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal on a Princess New England/Canada cruise in two weeks, and we will be staying overnight with family in Easton, PA.

Trans-Bridge has busses that leave out of Easton, and from the best I can see, could take up to either Penn Station or the Manhattan Pier.

Does anyone have any advice on what we should do? How long/much is a cab ride from either Penn or the pier?

Any advice is welcomed!

Thanks,

-DK

No, Trans-Bridge does not serve Pennsylvania Station. Like most intercity buses, Trans-Bridge goes to the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Don't bother paying extra to ride directly to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal as it is further away from where you're destined.

From the PABT you will either get a taxi directly to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal (easy to do with dispatchers right outside the PABT), or to save some dollars use public transportation from PABT either part-way or all the way to the terminal. To go part-way from PABT, get the downtown "A" train to Jay Street-Borough Hall station in downtown Brooklyn, then taxi; to go all the way, at Jay Street-Borough Hall board the B61 bus on the west side of Smith Street, between Fulton Street and Livingston Street, and alight on Van Brunt Street at King Street (then walk back one block on Van Brunt Street, turn left on Pioneer Street, and walk the equivalent of three blocks to the terminal).
