12-pack waters, shrinkwrapped or not?

My sis and I will be bringing soft drinks and water on our first cruise in October. I know we don't need the water but I don't want to argue :D. Anyway, the Carnival website doesn't specify. I know the water bottles need to have an unbroken seal, but can they be loose bottles (I already have a 24-pk of water at home and would like to just take some of them), or do we have to bring the unopened shrinkwrapped packages? TIA!

I don't see why not. As long as they are in your carry on it should be fine. We bought ours in Cocoa Beach and my DD removed the water from the shrink wrap to fit it in the wheeled carry on and we had no problem.
