Jewel of the Seas, MDR

We will be on Jewel of the Seas sailing on Oct 2 out of Boston. What is the name of the MDR?

Have not yet booked any excursions. Are we nuts?

The MDR is called Tides. If there are excursions that you are REALLY hoping to take I would suggest booking them now. They do keep some spaces for people to book once aboard but if it is a very popular excursion you may be out of luck if you wait.

 

We are doing the same cruise NEXT October...I hope you do a review when you get back and let us all know what it was like! Have a great cruise.

The two specialty restaurants have fees. Chops ($25 per person) and Portofino ($20 per person). The other restaurants have no charge.

Have fun!! We did that cruise in 2008. Loved it.

We did that cruise last year (2009) in October and had a great time, until the 20' heavy seas coming back from Halifax that is. It's a nice ship.

I am crossing fingers that doesn't happen to us. Was it horrible? Were meals served? Was it impossible/difficult to walk on the ship?
